Another problem with CrossOver Mac is that software unsupported by Wine either won't work or will be unstable.ĬrossOver Mac lets you install and run Windows applications on your Mac. The downside to this is that you never really feel like you are using Windows.
Since CrossOver Mac is not truly a virtual environment, it can launch applications much faster. These include their own C drive, subdirectories and registry. CrossOver Mac will create bottles, which are essentially Windows environments, for the programs you install.
